We hope that  our products not only serve as beautiful decorations but also spark interest in the amazing natural and cultural treasures from this region of the world

With strong ties to Central America, we would  like to be involved in projects that benefit local communities by providing alternative sources of income that allow people to maintain traditional art forms and empower them to protect local environments.
 

Many challenges lie ahead for this entire region, two of the largest being mass migration from rural areas to urban areas and the badly managed use of resources.

 Deforestation is a worldwide concern and we can happily say that butterfly collecting and farming actually help to save rain forest habitat. (See Save the Rain Forest.)
 

Our butterflies are raised on farms in Peru and are never harmed. They are allowed to live out their entire natural lives which last between two weeks and two months, depending on the species.
